Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions we hear most. Still curious? Call us at 317-842-6402.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes! Brown Family Dentistry welcomes new patients of all ages, from toddlers to grandparents. Give us a call at 317-842-6402 or request an appointment online and we'll get you scheduled.
What insurance plans do you accept?
We work with most major PPO dental insurance plans. Our office manager Kate and front office coordinator Brooke will verify your benefits before your visit so there are no surprises. Please have your insurance details ready when you call and we'll confirm your coverage.
How often should I visit the dentist?
For most patients we recommend a cleaning and exam every six months. Regular visits let us catch small issues early, before they become larger and more costly problems. If you have specific concerns, Dr. Brown may suggest a schedule tailored to your needs.
What should I expect at my first visit?
Your first visit includes a comprehensive dental exam, any necessary digital x-rays, and a professional cleaning. We'll review your dental and medical history, talk through any concerns, and build a personalized plan to keep your smile healthy. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete your new patient forms.
Do you see children?
Absolutely. As a family dental practice we care for patients of every age and offer pediatric dentistry in a warm, welcoming setting. Bringing the whole family in on the same day is often the easiest way to keep everyone on track.
What are your office hours?
We are open Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Thursday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Friday is an administrative day and we are closed on weekends. Need a specific time? Call 317-842-6402 and we'll find a slot that works for you.
How can I pay my bill?
You can pay securely online through our payment portal, and we're happy to review your options in the office. Kate and Brooke can walk you through your treatment plan and estimated costs before any work begins so you always know what to expect.
